Gallery Visits
Suite 104
This place was the first gallery that I visited to. When I first went into the building I saw these beautiful paintings of Christmas vibes. I was in loved with the paintings of a Christmas tree and a fire place with Christmas decorations. One of the reasons why I loved these two the most was because of the texture. I could tell their is a texture to the piece without even touching the image. Also, there were a lot of landscape paintings. When I talked to one of the artist, he told me he got his inspiration from nature as he traveled.

Suite 130
This piece caught my eyes first when I went to this building. I was surprised to see shapes such as squares and rectangles could create this beautiful piece. I guessed it could be a city filled with different height of buildings. The main color is the shade of blue however all the warm colors create a spark to the image. I think this piece is very interesting and beautiful. I forgot to read the title and take picture because I was so amazed to see all the artworks that are so breathtaking. |

Lily Pad Gallery West
This gallery included different type of painting styles. For examples, the sunflowers painting is realistic, the second piece was created with dashes or dots of paint with different colors; I think it is a landscape, the third images are filled with textures which I really loved, and the last pieces are mostly blank. I like visiting gallery that has different style of painting because this showed me how unique each style of paintings were and that they have their own kind of feelings or presenting something.
OIL, a city gallery
This piece looks very realistic to me. I liked the warm tone of the color and the shadows of the buildings.

This piece is also very realistic. This reminds me of some kind of place around downtown. Also, I liked the shadows of the buildings because I could assumed that it might be a beautiful sunny day.

These pieces were make made me surprised because of patterns, colors, shapes, lines, and movements are creating these images. From these pieces, I had a better understanding of how patterns or repeat ion of something could create a beautiful artwork. I appreciated using of repetitions of something such as lines, shapes, so on in these pieces.

This is very beautiful artwork as well. I liked the bright blue color and the repetition of lines and colors that creates the buildings.

Also, when I looked at other paintings I saw the same person in each images. I guessed that person might be the artist itself or could be someone who the artist loved. I loved the brightness of the colors in these paintings because it is pleasing to my eyes. I thought other guests might think it too. |
